GSL Education are looking for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a friendly school community in Worthing this September. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an SEN TA to make a positive impact on students' learning and development.

Responsibilities as an SEN Teaching Assistant:

Deliver tailored assistance to students with special educational needs, either individually or in small groups.
Help modify classroom materials and instructions to suit each learner's unique requirements.
Encourage constructive behaviour and help pupils build interpersonal and emotional skills.
Track and observe students' development and wellbeing, providing regular updates to teachers and the SENCO.
Work in close partnership with school staff to carry out personalised learning and support strategies.
Requirements for SEN Teaching Assistant:

Previous experience supporting children with special educational needs in educational or care settings is preferred.

A calm, understanding nature, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
A CV covering the last 10 years with any gaps explained.
