About the Role

We are working in partnership with a highly successful secondary academy in Hertfordshire to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Girls Physical Education for a one-year maternity cover starting in January 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive PE department that delivers a broad curriculum including Core PE, GCSE PE, and BTEC Sport, alongside a thriving extra-curricular programme.

Key Responsibilities

Teach PE across Key Stages 3-5, inspiring and motivating students to achieve their best.
Promote healthy lifestyles and a love for physical activity.
Contribute to the school's extensive extra-curricular sports programme.What We're Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and strong subject knowledge in PE.
Ability to teach and engage girls across all key stages.
