Main responsibilities:
* To carry out planned and reactive maintenance.
* Providing rapid response to breakdown's when required
* Fault finding, trouble shooting and maintaining, repairing conveyor systems, equipment and plant using all engineering disciplines to ensure minimum lost production time
* To follow up any faults picked up on PPM's.
* Ensure engineering standards are maintained to maximize the operation effectiveness and reliability of the factory and associated systems.
* To assist specialist subcontractor's requirements both for PPM and reactive works.
* To ensure company QA and site procedures are adhered to in all aspects.
* Ensure Company & Site, Health & Safety procedures are always followed.
* Keep and maintain all company issued tools in a safe and serviceable manner.
* To proactively work towards the continued success and support of the business with a can-do attitude.
* Complete any other associated task requested by the management.
* Ensure that workstations are kept tidy and well maintained
Skills & knowledge:
* Minimum Level 3 qualification in mechanical engineering and relevant experience
* PLC Qualification
* An ability to work well under pressure
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent technical skills and knowledge.
