Machine Operative - Night Shift (4 on / 4 off, 6pm-6am)

Are you an experienced Machine Operative looking for your next challenge in a fast-paced, process-driven manufacturing environment? We're recruiting for a hands-on, reliable Machine Operator to join a busy production team where you'll manage raw materials, oversee automated processes, and ensure machines run smoothly throughout each shift.

What You'll Be Doing:

Carrying out pre-start checks and cleaning of the production line
Setting up machinery and preparing raw materials
Replenishing packaging and film supplies
Starting production batches and monitoring output
Manually handling and stacking finished goods
Ensuring equipment hygiene standards are maintained
Completing accurate production documentation
Recording machine downtime and working with the team to reduce it
Troubleshooting stoppages and resolving issues
Supporting continuous improvement across quality, efficiency, safety, and waste reduction
Assisting with training of new or less experienced team membersWhat We're Looking For:

Previous machine operating experience - ideally in food production
Physically fit and confident with manual handling
High attention to detail and accuracy
Able to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
