Senior Architectural Technician/Co-Ordinator

Residential Housebuilding

An experienced Senior Architectural Technician is required to support the delivery of new-build residential developments from early design through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

Produce high-quality, commercially viable housing layouts

Assist with site feasibility studies and planning submissions

Manage full and reserved matters planning applications

Coordinate and manage external consultants

Oversee multiple live sites at varying build stages

Prepare drawing packages for tender, construction, and sales

Support discharge of planning conditions and NHBC requirements

Liaise with planning authorities, site teams, and internal departments

Candidate Requirements

Proven residential housebuilding experience

Strong understanding of planning policy and building regulations

Competent in managing projects from concept to completion

Proficient in AutoCAD (or similar CAD software)

Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail

Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple workloads
