As part of their ongoing growth journey, they're looking for a talented Production Planner to join their dynamic team at a state-of-the-art facility in West Lancashire.
The OpportunityIn this key role, you'll be responsible for creating and managing short- to medium-term production plans in a fast-moving environment where precision and adaptability are critical. Your ability to coordinate across departments, think on your feet, and keep things running smoothly under pressure will make you a valuable asset from day one.
Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and manage daily/weekly production schedules based on forecast and demand.
Collaborate with procurement, operations, and logistics teams to ensure timely execution.
Track raw material availability and proactively flag potential shortages.
Adjust plans in real time to align with performance metrics and KPIs.
Maintain accurate data in ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Sage, or similar).
Liaise with commercial teams to respond swiftly to shifts in customer demand.
What You'll BringProven experience in production planning within FMCG or food manufacturing.
Strong understanding of planning tools and ERP systems.
A calm, confident communicator who thrives in fast-paced settings.
