Fire Door Maintainer & Installer

A leading FM provider is seeking a qualified Fire Door Engineer to join their mobile team, working across a portfolio of secure and commercial sites in London, including retail banking and MOD contracts.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled individual with strong carpentry and fire door experience to take ownership of compliance-led maintenance and installation tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct fire door inspections, maintenance, remedial repairs, and full installations

*

Ensure all works comply with relevant legislation and BM Trada or equivalent schemes

*

Provide accurate reports and remedial recommendations

*

Carry out general carpentry/joinery tasks where needed

Requirements:

NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent) - Essential

*

Proven experience with fire door works (maintenance, surveying, installation)

*

Experience working in commercial or public sector buildings

*

Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance standards

*

Full UK Driving Licence - Essential
