Production Operative

Location: Newmarket, Suffolk

Hours: Monday-Thursday 07:30-16:30 & Friday 07:30-12:30

Hourly Rate: £11.50 Per Hour + Holiday Pay (Weekly Pay)

Duration: Temporary to Permanent

An exciting opportunity to join a family run engineering company based in Newmarket. Previous Manufacturing experience is desirable for this position along with a positive working attitude and willingness to learn. You will be using hand tools, feeding materials into machinery and quality checking of products.

What you will be doing:

* Feeding materials into machinery

* Assembling products using hand tools

* Ensuring your workstation is kept clean and tidy

* Preparing components for inspection

* Preparing component for welding

* Assisting in other departments when required

What we are looking for:

* Previous Manufacturing experience

* Willingness to learn new skills

* Previous experience working with hand tools desirable

* Strong communications skills

* Positive working attitude

* To be able to remain focused whilst working on repetitive tasks
