The Role:
We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, SENCO, and external professionals to provide tailored support to pupils with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with SEN in both classroom and small group/1:1 settings.

  • Assist with differentiated learning activities and provide targeted interventions.

  • Promote inclusion, independence, and positive behaviour.

  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.

  • Help monitor progress and provide feedback to the class teacher and SENCO.

  • Support with personal care needs where required.

About You:

  • Experience working with children, ideally within an SEN setting (school or otherwise).

  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and meet individual pupil needs.

  • Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential.
