We are seeking a dedicated Chef Cook to join our private school catering team starting in September. This is an excellent opportunity for a culinary professional who is passionate about creating nutritious and delicious meals for students and staff.
Day-to-day of the role: - Plan and prepare daily meals that meet the nutritional guidelines and dietary needs of students and staff.
- Manage kitchen inventory and order supplies while adhering to budget constraints.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety in accordance with UK regulations.
- Collaborate with the school administration to develop menus that are both appealing and nutritious.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient operation.
- Address any dietary concerns and preferences from the school community.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role, preferably within an educational environment.
- Professional culinary qualifications or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Right to work in the UK.
- A passion for cooking and providing high-quality food service.
