Senior Drainage Engineer

Our client is on the hunt for a confident, driven Senior Drainage Engineer to help shape the future of infrastructure and development projects across the region.

You'll take the lead on designing smart, sustainable drainage systems - both adoptable and private - while guiding teams, engaging with key stakeholders, and delivering solutions that stand up to scrutiny.

What You'll Be Doing:

Leading drainage designs, strategies, and Flood Risk Assessments
Delivering S104/S106/S185 submissions and securing approvals
Using tools like Causeway Flow, AutoCAD & MicroDrainage
Managing budgets, mentoring junior staff, and supporting construction phases

What You'll Bring:

6+ years' experience in drainage design
Solid knowledge of SuDS, DCG, planning policy & flood risk
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Relevant engineering qualifications (BEng, MEng, HNC/HND)
Working towards or already Chartered
