You'll report to the General Manager, an experienced operations leader with a strong commercial and logistics background. That means you'll be free to focus on what you do best: growing and managing a thriving nursery team.
As Nursery Manager, you'll take full ownership of the growing operation on site. It's a hands-on, detail-oriented role where your technical skills and leadership will directly impact plant quality and team performance.
You'll lead a team of 4-5 permanent staff (plus seasonal workers), overseeing all aspects of cultural care - watering, feeding, spraying, trimming, and spacing.
You'll oversee plant quality and ensure readiness for dispatch.
You'll manage pest and disease control, liaise with an external agronomist, and ensure records and compliance are spot on.
You'll support a culture of continuous improvement and make sure health and safety standards are maintained.What you'll Need:

Strong practical experience in commercial plant production
Working knowledge of pest, disease and weed control strategies, along with irrigation and feeding in container-grown nursery stock
PA1 and PA6 spraying certificates
Experience supervising small teams and leading from the front
Hands-on, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure
A practical, can-do approach - you're happy working outdoors and able to juggle daily husbandry tasks with the bigger picture of crop readiness, productivity and presentationWhat's Next?
