Manufacturing Engineer

Bedfordshire | Circa £45,000 per annum

The Role

We're looking for a Manufacturing Engineer with strong SMT experience to join an electronics manufacturer. You'll be responsible for ensuring products are delivered to the highest standards of quality, reliability, and on-time performance, while driving continuous improvement and supporting customer requirements from prototypes through to volume builds.

Key Responsibilities as a Manufacturing Engineer:

Produce work instructions, BOMs, and customer reports (RoHS, Obsolescence, etc.)
Analyse processes to improve efficiency, cost, and quality
Manage configuration changes (ECNs/concessions) and NPI processes
Support production teams and resolve technical issues
Drive LEAN and continuous improvement initiativesAbout You as a Manufacturing Engineer:

Degree-qualified (or equivalent experience) in engineering
Strong background in electronics manufacturing and SMT processes
Knowledge of electronic components and ERP/database systems
Proven ability to manage multiple projects
