Behavioural Support Assistant

Pay: £90-£112 per day

Full-time/ Term Time only

Do you have the patience, resilience, and passion to support students who need a little extra help to thrive?

We're looking for a Behavioural Support Assistant who can build strong, positive relationships with pupils and help them feel safe, understood, and motivated at school. You'll play a vital role in improving behaviour, emotional regulation, and social skills - making a real impact every single day.

Behavioural Support Assistant Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting students with behavioural challenges in and out of class
• Helping to implement individual behaviour support plans
• Working closely with teachers, SEN staff, and pastoral teams
• Creating a calm and supportive environment where pupils can succeed
• Encouraging positive choices and celebrating progress

Behavioural Support Assistant Requirements:

• Someone calm under pressure, with a caring but firm approach
• Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A good sense of humour and a genuine desire to help
• Previous experience in education, care or youth work (ideal but not essential)
