Randstad Education is searching for a highly capable SEN Teacher for a full-time, long-term role based in Knowsley.

You will be expected to provide specialist instruction and a nurturing atmosphere, with key activities including:

• Instructional Design: Creating differentiated lesson plans and adapting resources to ensure materials are fully accessible to all students.
• Teaching: Planning and delivering engaging lessons specifically designed for pupils with various special educational needs.
• Monitoring & Feedback: Implementing effective assessment strategies (both formal and informal), analysing performance data, and using results to inform future instruction.
• Collaboration: Working effectively with teaching assistants, parents, and external professionals.
• Classroom Management: Fostering a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment, and managing classroom behaviour effectively.

Candidate Profile (Required Skills & Experience)

We are looking for a professional who meets the following criteria:

• Certification: Must possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Compliance: Holds a current, clear Enhanced DBS check or is ready to obtain one immediately.
• Expertise: Proven experience teaching students with a range of SEN within the UK education system.
• Knowledge: Deep understanding of current SEN policies, effective intervention strategies, and best practices in adaptation.
• Qualities: Demonstrates resilience, patience, initiative, and strong classroom leadership.
