Commissioning Officer
 
Service care Solution are currently recruiting for a Commissioning Officer in Tower Hamlets.
 
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Commissioning Officer to join the Ageing Well Team. Sitting within the Health, Adults & Communities Directorate, this critical role focuses on home care commissioning for adults aged 18+ across the borough.
 
Pay rate - £24.35 PAYE / £31.79 Umbrella per day
 
Main Responsibilities
 
As a Commissioning Officer you will be responsible for:

Support commissioning and contract management of adult home care services.
Monitor and manage provider performance, ensuring services meet residents' needs.
Develop creative, outcome-focused commissioning solutions.
Liaise with internal teams, providers, and external partners to maintain high standards of service.
Promote the implementation of the Ethical Care Charter and other quality frameworks.
Assist in managing market risk and compliance with CQC and other regulatory standards. 
Requirements:

Strong knowledge of social care provision and service user needs.
Familiarity with the role of the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Solid understanding of adult social care policy, processes, and best practices.
