We're working in partnership with Birmingham Children's Trust to recruit an experienced and driven Domestic Abuse Education Lead to join their Domestic Abuse and Interpersonal Violence Service. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a pivotal role that directly impacts children, young people, and families at risk.

The Role As a Domestic Abuse Education Lead, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering high-quality interventions, training, and support across the Trust and education settings.

You'll:

Lead on the development and delivery of domestic abuse education and training
Support and empower staff to deliver outstanding services
Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners, including involvement in MARAC
Assess and manage risk for vulnerable children, young people, and families
Drive forward evidence-based interventions to improve outcomes
Contribute to strategic planning and service developmentWhat We're Looking For We're looking for someone who brings both expertise and passion to this vital area of work.

Essential requirements:

A relevant qualification in Social Work or Level 4 (or equivalent) in working with complex families
Proven experience working within domestic abuse services
Strong background in safeguarding and risk assessment
Experience supporting and developing staff performance
Ability to deliver training and influence practice across teams
Demonstrated success in multi-agency working and partnership engagement
Excellent report writing and communication skillsKey Skills & Competencies
Strong leadership and ability to motivate teams
Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder engagement
Confident in influencing and driving change in complex environments
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
