Early Years Teacher - Infant School in Brighton

Prospero Teaching is excited to recruit a passionate and dedicated Early Years Teacher for a vibrant Infant School in the heart of Brighton. This is a brilliant opportunity for an educator to shape the early learning journey of young children and make a lasting difference.

About the Role:

As an Early Years Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver imaginative and engaging lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum

  • Create a warm, inclusive classroom where every child feels safe, supported, and encouraged to thrive

  • Use a variety of teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of your pupils

  • Monitor and assess progress, offering constructive feedback to support development

  • Work closely with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to enhance learning outcomes

  • Promote positive behaviour and set high expectations for learning and personal growth

Position Details:
  • Location: Brighton

  • Role: Early Years Teacher (Infant School)

  • Start Date: September 2025

  • Contract Type: Permanent (Temp to Perm)

  • Hours: Full-time (08:00am - 16:00pm, subject to variation)

  • Salary: From £168.29 per day

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Essential: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Desirable: Previous experience in a similar role, a commitment to ongoing professional development, and a relevant degree or higher qualification

Eligibility Criteria:
  • Must have the right to work in the UK

  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate (on the update service or willingness to apply)

  • Up-to-date safeguarding training (or willingness to complete training)

  • References available upon request
