Elevation Recruitment Group is working exclusively with a forward-thinking engineering business based in Rotherham renowned for delivering innovative and reliable energy solutions across the UK. From emergency power and CHP systems to solar, diesel and gas installations, our client supports clients in critical sectors such as Banking, Healthcare, and Commercial Distribution.

Due to their continued expansion and growth, they are looking for an experienced Generator Engineer to join their thriving and dynamic team to work closely with their customers at sites throughout the UK.

You will be supplied with everything you need to carry out your role, including a van, laptop, phone, and PPE.

We will consider Generator Engineers from either a mechanical or electrical engineering background with experience working in power generation and knowledge of control panels. 

Key Responsibilities of the Generator Engineer:

• Installation of electrical systems, including cable containment, power, and control cables on customer sites throughout the UK
• Fabrication, welding, and pipe fitting
• Electrical Testing

Skills & Experience for the Generator Engineer include:

• Experienced Genset /Generator Engineer
• Familiar with all aspects of diesel generators (gas generators would be an advantage)
• Knowledge of CDM regulations would be beneficial
• CSCS/ECS required
• LV & HV preferred
• Familiar with Control Systems, ideally Deep Sea and/or ComAp
