WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE

People Solutions are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join our well-established client based in Swindon, Wiltshire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (Rotating Shifts)

AM Shift: 06:00 – 14:00 (£12.60 per hour)PM Shift: 14:00 – 22:00 (£13.73 per hour)

Pay rate: £12.60 per hour / Overtime rate: £16.80 per hour (after 37.5 hours)

Day-to-Day Duties

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Using RF scanners to process and track stock
• Receiving and unpacking incoming goods
• Organising stock ready for dispatch and delivery
• Heavy lifting (up to 20kg)
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures at all times

Essential Skills

• Previous warehouse experience is essential
• Physically fit due to manual handling requirements
• Confident using RF scanners
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
• Reliable and self-motivated
• Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks
• A good team player with a positive attitude

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience in a picking and packing environment

Training

• Industry related training and ongoing support throughout
