Vision for Education are looking to find a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to help children with speech and language difficulties at a school in North Cambridge

About the role

We are seeking a proactive individual to support the main classroom teacher and to mainly work alongside several pupils with specific language support needs . They are not challenging in their behaviour and just need a little extra help . The role is a temporary role for at least the autumn and spring term, with strong possibility of a permanent role being offered.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant you will:

Experience working as a Teaching Assistant/ Learning Support Assistant / Similar role
Although a Level 2 in Supporting and Teaching Learning is desirable - it is not essential.
Ability to work effectively in a team.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

GSCE Maths and English at Grade C or higher
Strong written and spoken English
