About the Role: We are looking for experienced and resilient Support Workers to join our specialist team in Surrey. This is a challenging but highly rewarding role, where you will be a crucial figure for children and young people in crisis. Your expertise in de-escalation, building trust, and managing complex situations will be key to providing a safe, supportive, and stable environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Providing exceptional care and daily support to children in a residential setting.

Confidently de-escalating heightened behaviours and making decisive, appropriate decisions under pressure.

Building trust with young people through creative and positive engagement.

Maintaining detailed records and incident reports with precision.

Working collaboratively with your team to implement care plans.

Upholding professional boundaries while demonstrating strong judgement and clear communication.
Essential Requirements (Non-Negotiable): To be considered for this specialist role, you must have:

Eligibility to work in the UK.

A minimum of 6 months' paid experience in a residential children's home within the last 3 years.

A full UK driving licence and access to your own car.

An enhanced DBS (or be willing to obtain one).

A valid overseas police certificate (if you have lived outside the UK for 6+ months in the last 5 years).
Desirable Qualifications:

An NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People (or equivalent).

A strong understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.

A genuine and demonstrable commitment to the welfare of children.
