Warehouse Manager

Our client who is a trusted UK leader in imports are seeking a proactive and experienced Warehouse Manager to lead the warehouse operations.

Reporting directly into the Managing Director the Warehouse Manager Duties will include:

• Oversee inbound/outbound logistics, ensuring accurate reception, picking, packing, and dispatching
• Manage stock control, inventory accuracy, turnover, and shrinkage
• Lead and develop a team of warehouse operatives/FLT Drivers, fostering a high-performance, safety-first culture
• Coordinate with shipping, customs clearance, and supply-chain teams for seamless global operations
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and environmental standards
• Drive process improvements to boost productivity and reduce costs
• Analyse key metrics and prepare operational reports for senior management

Warehouse Manager Criteria:

• Proven experience in a similar warehouse/logistics management role
• Strong leadership skills and experience managing at least 10+ staff
• In-depth knowledge of inventory control methodologies and logistics software
• Excellent IT skills
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams including customs, shipping, and manufacturing
• Excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills
• Solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental compliance
• A hands-on, "can-do" approach to problem-solving
• Excellent understanding of Health and safety
