Special Needs TA, Bromley

Enlighten Supply Pool are working with schools in the Bromley area who are looking for SEN TA's to provide 1:1 support in mainstream schools as well as SEN units/ PRU's.

As a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA), you will play a pivotal role in providing tailored support to children with a range of Special Educational Needs, including ADHD, dyslexia, autism and mild to severe learning difficulties.

You will work closely with the classroom teacher or SENCO to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.

Responsibilities:

* Support students in their academic, social, and emotional development.

* Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with special educational needs.

* Promote an inclusive and positive learning environment.

* Foster a safe and respectful classroom environment.

* Record and report on student progress and behaviour.

* Work alongside teachers and other support staff.

Requirements:

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Some knowledge of SEN needs

* Be patient and empathetic

* Ability to adapt and be flexible in a fast-paced educational setting.

* Some knowledge of SEN strategies and best practices
