HGV Mechanic - Luton

Salary: £46,000 - £50,000 (DOE)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Contract: Full‑time, Permanent

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced HGV Mechanic to join our team based in Luton. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician who takes pride in maintaining and repairing heavy goods vehicles to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs

* Conduct diagnostic work and fault finding

* Ensure vehicles meet compliance and safety standards

* Perform MOT preparation and general workshop duties

* Maintain accurate service records and documentation

Requirements

* Proven experience as an HGV Technician / Mechanic

* HGV Class 1 licence (essential)

* Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Good communication and organisational skills
