Principal Education is recruiting Cover Teachers / Supply Teachers to work across secondary and primary schools in Hackney, London. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced teachers who are seeking flexible work, a better work-life balance, or a route back into long-term or permanent teaching roles.

Many of our supply roles develop into long-term or permanent positions for the right candidates.

The Role

As a Supply / Cover Teacher, you will:

Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects

Maintain strong classroom behaviour and engagement

Adapt quickly to new school environments

Support pupils' learning and progress

Work on daily, short-term and long-term cover assignments

Requirements

Previous school teaching experience is essential

QTS is desirable (not essential for all roles)

Confident classroom management skills

Flexible, reliable and professional approach

Ability to build positive relationships quickly
