PWR are supporting an independent Multi Academy Trust in in their search for appointing a SENCo for their school in Wisbech. This is on a permanent basis beginning in September or sooner if possible. Please see further information below.

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Start Date: September or ASAP

Salary: £35,585 - £50,845

The ideal candidate will have a detailed understanding of current safeguarding procedures. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable but the main criteria for this position is having suitable experience working with children with SEN/SEMH needs.

The school is in the process of opening another school site at Barnwell, near Oundle, for primary age pupils. This is a new role within the senior leadership team. You will be based at the Wisbech school initially but will be required to work across the Wisbech and Barnwell sites, once it is open in 2026. Therefore, you must possess a valid UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
