About the Student:
This student has autism and is non-verbal. When dysregulated, he may engage in self-injurious behaviour, such as hitting his head on the floor. He often requires time out of the classroom to regulate. Supporting him can be a challenging role, so we are looking for a resilient, experienced SEND Teaching Assistant who can remain calm under pressure, provide consistent support, and help him re-engage with learning in a safe and supportive way.
We are looking for someone who is:
Patient, proactive, and calm under pressure
Experienced in supporting children with SEMH needs
Committed to building a trusting, consistent relationship

Eligibility Requirements:To be considered for this role, you must:
Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
Have an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
Provide two professional child-related references.
Hold up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable training can be provided).
