Teaching Assistant - Carlisle

Humly is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join a primary school on a long-term basis.

This is a full-time role starting 20/04/2026 and continuing until 17/07/2026. This role is ideal for someone with Early Years experience who is confident supporting young learners and contributing positively to a busy classroom environment. You will play an important role in supporting pupils' development during the final term of the academic year.

What You'll Be Doing

* Supporting pupils within EYFS with their learning and development

* Assisting the class teacher with daily classroom activities

* Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in learning

* Providing one-to-one and small group support where required

* Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment

What You'll Bring

* Experience working within an EYFS setting

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

* Ability to build rapport quickly with young children

* A proactive and flexible approach to classroom support

* Confidence in supporting learning through play-based activities

Pay

£14.26+ per hour
