The Role :

We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) Primary Teacher for a Long term to permanent role at a supportive and dynamic SEN primary school in Wandsworth. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a committed team focused on providing high-quality education and care for children with SEMH.

Key Responsibilities :

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to meet the needs of pupils with SEMH challenges
Create a safe, nurturing and structured classroom environment
Work closely with support staff, parents/carers, and external agencies to support pupil progress
Use restorative approaches and positive behaviour strategies to build trust and relationships
Assess, record and report on the development, progress and attainment of pupils
Contribute to the wider life of the school, including safeguarding and pastoral support

What We're Looking For :

Eligibility to work in the UK
DBS on the update service.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience working with children with SEMH needs, ideally within a primary setting
Strong classroom management and a calm, consistent approach
A passionate, empathetic and adaptable educator
