The Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Renewables Breakdown Engineer to join a growing and forward-thinking organisation delivering heating and energy solutions within the social housing and public sector.

This position is focused on servicing, fault-finding, and repairing renewable heating and hot water systems across domestic properties. The successful candidate will be technically strong, customer-focused, and capable of diagnosing and resolving complex breakdowns efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair faults in renewable heating and hot water systems

*

Carry out maintenance and reactive breakdown works

*

Provide technical advice and support to customers and internal teams

*

Ensure all work complies with current regulations and Health & Safety standards

Complete required documentation accurately (electronic and manual)

*

Maintain high levels of customer service when working in occupied homes

*

Follow stock control and parts ordering procedures

*

Work collaboratively with engineering and customer service teams

Skills & Experience Required

*

Proven experience working with renewable heating systems (essential)

*

Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capability

*

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

*

Professional and customer-focused approach

*

Gas qualifications (desirable)

*

Full UK driving licence

*

Ability to pass relevant criminal and reference checks

OTE £55,000 - £60,000
