Management Accountant

JOB TYPE: Permanent, FullTime


Foundational Responsibilities:

  • Full balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Liaise with the Senior Team to accurately reflect income and costs for the month; ensure suitable processes are in place to enable accurate production of management accounts; suggest improvements where required; and/or follow up where processes are not being followed
  • Produce forecast results
  • Provide commentary on results
  • Report to Senior Team on results
  • Review aged debt reports and agree bad debt provisions with business team
  • Assist Senior Team to produce the annual budget for the relevant business areas
  • Assist with FCA compliance & monitoring
  • Produce Statutory accounts
  • Produce detailed year end audit files with detailed analytical review
  • Liaise with auditors and respond to requests

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified or Part-Qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
  • Experience within Financial Services
  • Management Accounts, Budgeting & Forecasting, Preparation of year end statutory accounts and supporting documents.
  • Income and Cost reporting
  • Very strong excel skills
  • Excellen written and verbal communication
  • Team player
  • Flexible approach to work and the ability to adapt
  • Able to provide challenge to senior management
