Year 6 Teacher Margate

Academics are seeking a motivated and inspiring Year 6 Teacher to join one of our supportive partner primary schools in Margate, Thanet. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about guiding pupils through their final year of primary school and preparing them for a confident move into secondary education.

What you'll do as a Year 6 Teacher:

Plan, deliver, and assess stimulating lessons tailored to upper KS2 learners
Prepare pupils for SATs and their transition to Year 7
Create a positive, structured, and motivating classroom atmosphere
Work closely with TAs and senior leadership to support progress and wellbeing
Encourage independence, resilience, and a love of learning
Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleaguesWhat we're looking for:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) / Early Careers Teachers (ECT) welcome
Experience teaching in KS2, ideally Year 6
Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills
A proactive, organised, and supportive approach
