Job Title: Multi-Utility OperativeLocation: Northwest (home depot Leyland)Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent, 45 hours/week (7:30-17:00)

About the Role:We are looking for skilled Multi-Utility Operatives to join a growing team delivering essential utility services across the North West. You'll work on installing and maintaining gas, water, and electric services on a variety of site locations, ensuring all work meets health, safety, and quality standards. Occasional overnight stays may be required, with allowances provided.

Salary:

• Multi-Utility Assistants: £16-19/hr

• 2nd Man: £20-21/hr

• Team Leaders: £22-24/hr

• Weekend overtime: Saturday 1.5x, Sunday 2x

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and connect multi-utility services (gas, water, electricity)

• Carry out excavations and reinstatements as required

• Operate plant and machinery safely (training provided if required)

• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team on various sites

• Complete job documentation accurately

• Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures

• Communicate effectively with supervisors, teams, and clients

Required Qualifications & Tickets:

• EUSR SHEA (Power, Gas, Water)

• EUSR Water Hygiene

• NCO Water & Gas Mains, Services, Assistants

• CPCS or NPORS Excavator & Dumper

• Streetworks / NRSWA

• First Aid, Cat & Jenny, Manual Handling, BA Face Fit, Abrasive Wheels
