We are inviting applications from experienced cancer nurses with an RN (child or adult) qualification to apply for the role as Junior Sister/Charge Nurse on our ward that is dedicated to the care of young people with cancer aged between 14 and 24 years of age.

You will need to demonstrate the desire to work with teenagers and young adults with cancer, and have some experience of working with young people. You will have extensive post registration experience in an oncology or haematology setting, and be competent in venepuncture, and IV drug and chemotherapy administration.

You must have the ability and flexibility to work in both the 8-bedded inpatient ward and day unit area.

You will have potential to further develop leadership and management skills. In return we will provide you with the support and resources you need to succeed in this position.
