SEN Teaching Assistant – Tonbridge area

A warm, welcoming, and truly lovely SEN school in Tonbridge is seeking an experienced and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support secondary-aged pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism and behavioural difficulties.

 The Role

• Full-time, Monday to Friday
• Working hours: 8:15am – 4:30pm
• Supporting secondary-aged students with autism, behavioural needs, and other learning difficulties
• Providing 1:1 and small-group support
• Assisting class teachers with daily tasks, classroom routines, and lesson delivery
• Helping to create a calm, positive and inclusive learning environment

 Requirements

• Must have the Right to Work (ETW) in the UK
• Clear Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service – essential
• Previous SEN experience is required, ideally with autism and behaviour support
• Calm, patient and resilient approach
• Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with young people
• Passion for helping students overcome barriers and achieve their potential
