The MARK Organization (Meaningful Autistic Resources for Kids) is seeking to fill numerous part time and PRN vacancies for its 2018-2019 therapy programs. These programs will provide school based after- school and home-based Occupational Therapy to children ages 5-12 with developmental disabilities. Our therapy programs provide children with developmental disability greater opportunity to enhance their ability and support their independence. The goal of Meaningful Autistic Resources for Kids - MARK programs is to enable children with developmental disabilities to improve their communication, social, cognition, and behavior to the point they can succeed in school and eventually be productive citizens.
Job Duties: To provide Occupational Therapy to children with developmental disabilities who range in ages 5-12.
Examples of Work: Works individually with special needs child. Assesses child's current stage of development. Provides Occupational Therapy to children with developmental disabilities to improve their fine and gross motor ability of their upper extremities. Our goal is to enhance the child’s independence in caring for themselves. The therapist will be expected to maintain accurate, complete and timely documentation of the child’s progress.
Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and certified to practice Occupational Therapy in Louisiana.
