Multi-Trade Operative

Location: Gloucestershire

Salary: £36,000 per year

Contract: Permanent, Full-time (40 hours/week, 8:00am – 4:30pm)

Holidays: 23 days per year

About the Role:

Our client is a reputable maintenance contractor working with social housing clients, and they’re looking for a skilled Multi-Trade Carpenter to join their team. You will be carrying out repairs and maintenance in tenanted properties, covering a wide range of work including kitchens, bathrooms, tiling, painting, patch plastering, basic plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out repairs and maintenance in occupied properties safely and efficiently
• Complete work to a high standard across various trades including carpentry, plumbing, tiling, painting, and plastering
• Maintain a professional and courteous approach when working in tenants’ homes
• Use company tools, van, and fuel card responsibly
• Report any issues or further works needed to your supervisor

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a multi-trade operative or carpenter
• Ability to work across a variety of trades (carpentry, basic plumbing, tiling, painting, plastering)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Excellent communication skills and professional attitude
• Full UK driving licence
