Adecco are recruiting on behalf of the BD Group for a Carpenter - Multi Trade

Location: Barking & Dagenham
Pay: £21.70 per hour PAYE
Contract: Temporary or Fixed-Term Contract
Hours: Monday-Friday, 36 hours per week (7am-3pm or 8am-4pm)
Full UK Manual Driving Licence Required
Council van + fuel card providedAbout the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter with multi‑trade experience to join the BD Group Repairs & Maintenance team. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality carpentry work while supporting additional trades to ensure homes remain safe, secure, and well maintained.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out carpentry repairs including doors, windows, frames, kitchen units, and flooring.
UPVC repairs and installations.
Perform multi‑trade tasks such as basic plumbing, patch plastering or general maintenance.
Complete routine inspections and resolve issues promptly.
Maintain professional communication with tenants and internal teams.
Update job status using PDA systems.What We're Looking For

NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry (or equivalent).
Proven multi‑trade skills.
Experience in social housing repairs (preferred).
Strong awareness of Health & Safety and safeguarding requirements.
Ability to work independently and achieve first‑time fixes.Benefits
