About the opportunity

An established real estate investment management platform is seeking a Finance Analyst to join their growing finance team in London. Founded in December 2023, this innovative company manages over £900m across 22 mandates and employs approximately 35 staff across five offices in the UK and Europe.

Working directly with the Director of Finance, you'll play a crucial role in supporting key investment mandates in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Preparation and review of quarterly management accounts in line with IFRS & FRS 102
  • Daily management of invoice processes for assigned funds
  • Preparation of management fee calculations according to fund documentation
  • Analysing capital expenditure and preparing capital statements for investors
  • Preparing, reviewing and submitting VAT returns (UK and Luxembourg)
  • Assisting with asset acquisition/disposal in collaboration with investment teams
  • Supporting annual statutory accounts preparation and audit processes
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements in financial reporting

Requirements

  • 2+ years of accounting experience (either in practice or industry)
  • Strong IT and Excel skills (knowledge of Yardi and BI software beneficial)
  • Excellent analytical abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to work accurately while under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and team-oriented approach
  • Problem-solving aptitude and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
