Maxxima’s nursing team are currently recruiting for 2 Band 2 Mental Health Nurses to fill full-time roles in St Brelades Alderney Hospital. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of Mental Health and the practices within the NHS. In this NHS role, you will need;
To provide a high quality person centred approach to care delivery which always considers people’s safety, privacy and dignity.
To undertake assessments of patients/service users and carers needs and develop programmes of care as part of the wider multi-disciplinary care team.
To provide advice to patients/service users and carers regarding their care.
To plan, implement and review health improvement programmes in a range of settings.
This role will be on a rota basis, working up to 37.5 hours a week .
The pay rate for this Band 5 Mental Health Nurse is £18.00
per hour for day shifts (Umbrella) with uplifts for night and weekend hours worked. Requirements of this Band 5 Mental Health Nurse vacancy:
- All applications must be registered mental health nurses with Valid NMC pin.
- You must have previous experience working in mental health.
- Must have clinical experience.
- Must have experience working with children and adults with learning disabilities.
- You must be a highly motivated individual.
- Must have good assessment skills.
