Full Time Science Teacher (Temporary)

Start Date: September 1st 2025

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a secondary school in Gloucester, covering a long-term sickness absence. This full-time role involves teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Science, with a focus on delivering engaging lessons and maintaining continuity for students during this period.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging and informative lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and success
Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed
Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the science curriculum and promote cross-curricular links
Implement and uphold the school's policies and proceduresRequirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching Science at secondary level
Strong classroom management and communication skills
