Job Title: PDI Vehicle Technician
Location: Toyota, Bromley
Salary: Up to £35,000 basic (depending on experience) + uncapped OTE of £20,000
Hours: Monday to Friday 8.00 to 17.00, 1 in 3 Saturdays 8.00 to 13.00 (paid at 1.5x overtime)
Bonus: £2,000 joining bonus for new starters

Kickstart Your Career with Toyota Bromley - Join Our PDI Technician Team! We're looking for a detail-oriented PDI Vehicle Technician to join our growing team at Toyota Bromley. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technician who thrives on quality and precision, and who wants to work with one of the world's leading automotive brands. This role is a solo position working on a separate ramp to the technician team and is ideal for a person at the beginning of their technician / mechanic career. 

Key Responsibilities:
Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections on new and used Toyota vehicles to ensure they meet manufacturer and dealership standards before handover.

Carry out vehicle checks including fluid levels, battery testing, tyre condition, lights, and overall mechanical systems.

Complete software updates and system checks using diagnostic tools where required.

Fit accessories and ensure all customer-specified enhancements are installed correctly.

Prepare vehicles for handover in a timely and professional manner, liaising with sales and service teams to meet delivery deadlines.

Maintain accurate records of inspections and work carried out.

Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

What You'll Need:
Previous experience in a similar PDI, prep, or workshop technician role (franchise dealership experience preferred).

Good understanding of vehicle systems and mechanical processes.

Strong attention to detail and pride in high-quality workmanship.

Full UK driving licence.

Willingness to learn and develop through Toyota manufacturer training, including hybrid technology.
