A new job opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Project Engineer
This career opportunity for will provide site leadership to projects related to mechanical projects being ran out of our Mildenhall office with works covering across the east of England. The successful candidate will be required to lead by example in applying our core values both with our clients and colleagues and promote a safe at work ethos whilst ensuring all works are completed correctly and as planned
Main Responsibilities
* Close management of the site supervisors and direct employees on site
* Reporting into the senior contracts manager and senior project managers
* Management of the H&S elements of the project i.e review of RAMS, production of RAMS, site inspections, management of the H&S site file and ensure the site supervisor is carrying out the company processed in line with the Edwin James SSoW and SoP's
* Review of drawings to ensure feasibility or works to be completed
* Responsibility of all on-site installation
* Financial responsibility on project spends
* Liaison and management of all sub-contractors
* Reporting into the senior contracts manager and senior project managers
We value everyone's skills and experiences but for this role are looking for people who:
* Qualified in a relavant discipline with the construction industry
* Strong technical background in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Controls
* Experience and knowledge around CIBSE & BSRIA approved codes of practice
* Strong customer facing skills and excellent communication is essential
