Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? Zest Education are seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a special educational school located in Rugeley. This exciting full-time role will commence in September 2025 and continue for the remainder of the academic year, offering a long-term opportunity to contribute to the development and growth of the students.

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping the students discover and nurture their individual strengths. To excel in this position, you must have a calm, positive, and pro-active approach to supporting children within the classroom. Previous experience working with SEND pupils, especially those with complex learning needs, is essential. As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will work with students of various age groups within the school, so adaptability and the ability to improvise quickly are crucial. Moreover, your excellent behaviour management skills and effective collaboration within a team setting will contribute to maintaining a supportive learning environment.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years
