A highly regarded and inclusive primary school in Manchester is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Year 3 Class Teacher to join its dedicated Key Stage 2 team from September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent role, open to both experienced teachers and confident Early Career Teachers (ECTs) with a strong understanding of Key Stage 2 provision.

Role Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons aligned with the Year 3 National Curriculum.

*

Establish a positive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes curiosity, independence and resilience.

*

Use formative and summative assessment to monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet diverse learning needs.

*

Promote excellent behaviour for learning and high expectations for all pupils.

*

Work collaboratively with the wider KS2 team to share planning, resources and strategies.

*

Maintain strong communication with parents and carers to support pupil development.

*

Contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment activities and whole-school initiatives.

Candidate Requirements:

*

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential.

*

Sound knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, particularly lower KS2.

*

Proven ability (or strong potential, for ECTs) to deliver high-quality teaching and secure good progress for all learners.

*

Strong classroom management skills and an inclusive approach to supporting all pupils.

*

Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.

*

A reflective, committed and enthusiastic attitude to professional development.

*

A firm commitment to safeguarding, equality, and promoting pupil well-being.
