The Role

We are currently recruiting for experienced Multi Skilled Tradespeople with a Carpentry bias to join a busy and dynamic Facilities & Environment team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a well-established organisation delivering high-quality repairs, maintenance and improvement works across residential and communal properties.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out a wide range of carpentry works, including:

* Door hanging and repairs

* Lock replacements and adjustments

* Kitchen fitting and repairs

* Skirting, architraves and general woodwork

* Undertake multi-trade duties such as basic plumbing, tiling, painting and patch plastering

* Complete responsive repairs and planned maintenance tasks

* Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs on first visit where possible

* Ensure all works are completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety regulations

* Provide excellent customer service when working in occupied properties

* Accurately record works completed using job management systems

Requirements

* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry (or equivalent experience)

* Proven experience in a multi-skilled trade role within housing, facilities or maintenance

* Strong carpentry skillset with ability to carry out additional trades

* Experience working in social housing or similar environments (highly desirable)

* Full UK driving licence (preferred)

* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
