We are seeking a Lecturer in Motor Vehicle to work for a professional college in an ongoing role.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare and teach on a range of Motor Vehicle Service, (PHEV, Electrical Vehicle - Desirable) and Repair courses;

* Contribute to aspirational teaching, learning and assessment; and

* Keep accurate records for learners' progress in College.

* Planning, delivering and marking lessons.

* Giving constructive and guided feedback to students both written and verbally

* Summative and formative assessment, guide progress through marking and feedback, support and 121 if necessary.

* Attending departmental meetings and communicating effectively with parents.

* Encouraged to share best practice within and beyond the department

* Lead extracurricular enrichment activities to extend learning beyond the classroom

Qualifications/Requirements:

* Successful candidates should hold a degree/masters and/or PGCE with a relevant teaching background or the international equivalent.

* Hold an up-to-date DBS certificate on the update service

* Possess an excellent subject knowledge

* Have excellent knowledge of the British Curriculum

* Maintain exceptional classroom practice

* Work collaboratively and creatively with colleagues

*Payment scale advertised is based upon the teacher pay scale from M1 to M6. Actual pay is based upon relevant teaching experience
