Job Title: Commercial Assistant

Overview

Nolan Recruitment are recruiting for a proactive and detail-oriented Commercial Assistant to join their growing client based near Southend-on-Sea. The successful candidate will support the commercial and project delivery teams with financial and administrative tasks, including monthly applications and purchase order management.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist with the preparation and submission of monthly applications for payment

* Create and manage purchase orders, including invoice tracking

* Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets and MS Project plans

* Communicate effectively with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients

* Ensure commercial documentation is accurately filed and tracked

* Help reconcile supplier accounts and monitor project costs

* Provide administrative and commercial support to project teams as required

* Work collaboratively to meet internal and client deadlines

Skills & Experience

* Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail

* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and MS Project

* Good understanding of purchase order processes

* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Reliable team player with a professional attitude

* Strong organisational and time management skills

* Full UK driving licence
