Position: IT Field Service Technician
Pay Rate: 17.00 W2, plus mileage and travel expense
Location: Oakland, CA 94610 area (field service), candidates must live within 20 miles of this zip to meet service request
Hours: Full Time, Mon-Fri, 12PM-9PM, some on-call and weekends
Duration: contract to hire
Description: IT field service and support for area clients.
- Candidate must maintain good customer focus meeting deadlines and service level agreements (SLA’s)
- Technician will travel to each client’s location
- Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs Desktop, Laptop, POS, Server and Printer
- Ability to upgrade OS software and transfer data if required.
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to follow written instructions
- No prior experience required, basic IT knowledge is adequate, we will train.
- Good attitude and willingness to learn is a must.
- The position is for retail break/fix and project support
- Reliable Transportation (This is a driving position - reimbursed accordingly)
- Personable as they will be interacting with a wide range of users and environments
- Can work on a ladder of lift and are able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Able to work from a bent, crouched, or kneeled position
- Basic Hand Tools for computer repair
- Possess a valid driver’s license
